The Portfolio Review Weekend continues to be a success year after year thanks to all the professionals, students, and volunteers who come together to help shape our area’s future creative community—we could not do it without you.
As a designer, regardless of whether you’re a student or a long-time professional, your portfolio is what represents you. No doubt you’ve heard that a great portfolio is built on quality over quantity; that it’s not about how much work you’ve done, but the type of work you believe is your best.

On Friday November 4th, AIGA Jacksonville hosted its fifth installment of Design Sidekicks. In this student outreach event, college-level design and advertising students were graciously invited to shadow professionals through their day-to-day jobs and duties.
This year, AIGA Jax was fortunate enough to be a part of DMAB's summer program series. Their "Empire State of Mind" theme helped students understand the scale and importance of art, design and culture in NYC.
