The 2016 Let's Get Digital workshop is all about building experience and gaining new skills. This 2-day workshop will teach you how to use design thinking to solve problems and design your own mobile app. We've partnered with 2 local non-profits for the workshop, so you'll be given a set of real-world problems to work with. From brainstorming and sketching techniques, to using UI libraries and digital tools, you'll learn how to quickly prototype and test your ideas. 

Whether you're a designer, developer, entrepreneur or just have an interest in solving problems, this interactive workshop will have you out of your seats and out of your comfort zones. You'll walk away with a digital prototype of a mobile app and whole new set of tools. No experience is needed; this workshop will benefit all skill levels. Want to give your resume a boost? We'll help you add design thinking, prototyping, UX design, mobile app design, and user testing to your skill set. 

This event is a 2-day workshop series that builds on itself. There are only 30 tickets available, so please only buy tickets if you can commit to both sessions. No coding or design skills are required for this workshop, but you'll want to bring a computer in order to access the digital tools we'll be using.
