The program paired high schoolers interested in graphic design with practicing and soon-to-be professionals. Guided by local professional designers and past mentors—Donald, Lauren, and Natalie—mentoring pairs completed a social design project over 15 sessions.
This year’s task was to find a design solution for a local social issue.
Mentoring is a rewarding way to get involved with AIGA; meet fellow professionals, build a bond and share your craft with an interested student—all while identifying and improving social issues in your own community!
We are excited to see the final results of their hard work. Please join us on Saturday, May 9th at 10 am at The MOCA Jacksonville auditorium for Discover Design’s presentation Day!
