The competition was tough. This year’s crop of graduating students brought their books and their “A” game to the portfolio review. But in the end, congratulations go out to University of Florida’s Steph Davlantes for having the best portfolio at AIGA Jacksonville’s 21st Annual Student Portfolio Review! Second and third place went to Flagler College’s Liza Dixon and Heather Gibson! Congratulations!
Huge thanks also go out to Von Glitschka for coming out and speaking to our design community, as well as reviewing and guest judging our Annual Student Portfolio Review. Thanks to Print Resources Jacksonville for printing this year’s poster designed by UNF design student, Paul Gwiazda. Thanks to our portfolio prize donors: Art House Films for the “Milton Glaser: To Inform & Delight” DVD and to the Friends of the Jacksonville Public Library for the numerous books bestowed upon the student winners. Thanks to the Art Institute of Jacksonville for providing their hospitality and space for this year’s review. Kudos to Education Co-Chairs Dave Begley and Blake Coglianese for organizing the event. And finally, thank you to all the reviewers and students for coming out.
