Tomorrow morning at 9:00am, your very own AIGA Jacksonville will be competing against other organizations in the city to win the 6th Annual City Rescue Mission Bed Race!
Come out and support us as we take part in this light-hearted competition to help raise funds for City Rescue Mission, a self-supporting non-profit organization that offers food, clothing, shelter, emergency services, and residential recovery programs to the homeless in Jacksonville, Florida. The event will also feature team booths, a children’s fair, music, concessions, and tons of fun for the entire family.
In addition to supporting AIGA Jacksonville at the race, we are seeking donations. You can donate to Team AIGAJax now by submitting our team name of “AIGAJax” with your donation amount here:
Or you can make checks payable to “City Rescue Mission” and snail mail to: City Rescue Mission, Attn. Gudrun Neubauer, AIGAJax Bed Race Team, 426. S. McDuff Ave., Jacksonville, FL 32254
Tell your family and tell your friends and join us as we take our makeshift bed through a rigorous course while staying in character with our “Silent Film”-inspired theme! [insert laugh track]. Photo opps will be available, as well, so be sure to bring your camera and we’ll see you there!
