As we close out the end of 2017, our chapter wants to take a moment to remember two wonderful members of our local AIGA community who we recently lost this year.

Diane Shook and Jill Applegate helped form the chapter in 1989 as the North Florida Chapter of AIGA. Diane was one of the 20 creative professionals who signed the petition to form our chapter, and both were part of the first board of directors; Diane as President, and Jill as Membership Chair. They served the chapter into the mid-90’s and continued to support events well into the early 2000’s.

We celebrate both their lives for the role they played in building our creative community. They will be dearly missed, and forever remembered.
