SEPTEMBER COCKTAILS & CREATIVES RECAP

The creative process can be a grueling one. Eyes glued to the screen, shoulders tensed up to the ears and an index finger that threatens to revolt at any moment. But designers feared not because there was a sanctuary, a place to unwind. A place where 2nd, 3rd and 4th drafts were a good thing. A place where ideas weren’t the only thing brewing.

It was Cocktails & Creatives at Seven Bridges!

September 10th, AIGA Jacksonville hosted Cocktails & Creatives’ at Seven Bridges on Gate Parkway much to designers’ delight! Over 40 people met up, mingled and enjoyed Seven Bridges homebrews. Seven Bridges donated free unlimited games of pool, and in addition, great drink and appetizer specials were had “around the table” – $1 off beer, $2 off wine by the glass, $5 premium martinis, mojitos and margaritas, and $4.99 bar appetizers! Creatives from all across Jacksonville rubbed elbows, relaxed and enjoyed the cozy bar. Whether shooting some pool, making new connections or rekindling old ones, Seven Bridges was the place to be for creatives from all over Jacksonville!

Attendees also had the chance to provide valuable input on upcoming Cocktails & Creatives by filling out a short survey that provided 3 chances to win a $40 gift card to Seven Bridges for a dinner-for-two! Congratulations to Jamie Stanish, Dan Burgos and Katya Cajas for being selected in the drawing!
