Animator Spotlight: Shane Douberly & Bill Waller of Dripsblack
For those of you who missed the amazing 25/100 Celebration at The Candy Apple less than two weeks ago we’ve decided to share the 10×10 Animation Project with you by presenting two animators a day for the entire week.

The 10×10 Animation Project was created to celebrate our centennial year by enlisting 10 animators to each create a 10 second piece to represent a decade of design history— the only requirements was that each piece begin and end with the AIGA logo and be under 10 seconds.

To kick things off, starting with 1914 and 1924 we have a double header for you.

Shane and Bill have been rocking the Jax motion and animation scene under the Dripsblack mantle since 2007. From creating amazing work for big and small clients alike and starting their own animation festival, Citrus Cel, they’ve certainly carved their own path to becoming hometown heroes. Check out their work in the 10×10 Project below and be sure to visit their website and vimeo page for their most recent exploits.

Also be sure to catch Shane and Bill present, along with fellow 10×10 animators of Tigerlily, this week at the Morning Leak!
