AIGAJAX Gives Back: Jacksonville Zoo’s Halloween Spooktacular

Want to have a great time while giving back to the community? AIGA Jacksonville is participating in the Jacksonville Zoo’s Halloween Spooktacular on Thursday, October 29, from 5 to 11 pm.

The Jacksonville Zoo’s Spooktacular is the area’s best family Halloween event. It features spooky and animal-related sets and characters and relies on volunteers to work with staff to make it a great event for all.

You can show off your hidden acting skills by dressing up and performing. Or you can choose to man the trick-or-treat stations, handing out candy to the little ghosts and goblins from the community who walk the zoo’s trails that night.

Dressing up is not required but having a little Halloween spirit is! If you are interested in participating, a short training session is required. Please plan on attending one of the following, both in the Education Campus Auditorium at the zoo:

  • October 15, 2009 from 6 to 8pm
  • October 17, 2009 from 10am to noon

Contact Karen Kurycki at vicepresident[at]aigajacksonville.org if you are interested in participating, have any questions, or can’t make it to the training session but still want to participate.
