AIGA Wins Second Place in Local Bowling Tourney

Last Thursday, several AIGA Jacksonville members participated in AAF Jax’s Bowl-O-Rama, a bowling competition among advertising agencies and media outlets in Jacksonville. Varick “Vulture” Rosete, Karen “CMYKaren” Kurycki, Lena “Strykz” Mullaney, Jim “The Warden” Ward, Kelly “KelMac” MacDonald, and additional team member from Lite 96.1, “Triki Vicki”, came prepared with white t-shirts and sharpies in hand, ready to decorate their team jerseys donning the name “Bowl P*Troll.” Things started off shaky as gutter balls were followed by gutter mouths as each bowler’s game took a turn for the worst. Luckily, that was just the practice round. In the second game, the one that counted, AIGAJAX quickly turned it around with strike after strike and spare after spare. The team fought hard, and cheered hard, to place second out of all the teams in the tournament. A great showing for our first representation of AIGA in this annual event. We had a great time with AAFJAX and we hope to participate again next year, as we strive to win “The Golden Pin!”
