We can’t wait for our Let’s Get Digital speaker event, featuring Nick Finck as he walks us through the nuances of user experience this Thursday.
The Man, the Legend
Nick has been an influential information architect and user experience professional in the industry for more than a decade. From creating one of the first web applications for the iphone to speaking at a variety of national digital conferences, he has worked and collaborated with high-end companies such as Google and Adobe, and is currently the senior manager of user experience at Amazon AWS.
With that kind of reputation in the industry, this talk is a must-see for the tech crowd of web and interactive designers. However, designers of all disciplines can appreciate and learn from the subtle details that go into creating an excellent user experience. As designers, we can gain valuable insights by analyzing our own personal experiences as the user, on and off the screen, which Nick beautifully illustrates in his article, The UX of Wine. Through this analysis, we can apply the finer points of any great personal or visual user experience into our daily work.
Thoughts and Commentary
